Hey folks,

I know there's a thread like this way down there...but maybe we can get this started again. Where is everybody on the EVS list? I'm just trying to gauge how close I am (#38 the last time I asked Rush). Is it kosher to ask this of you? Hope it doesn't violate anything (or anyone).

I was #17 and I got my camera last Friday. I guess a lot of people went with other cameras or something like that.
 
EVS lists... move in to FULLCOMPASS lists...

My guess is with current rate of attrition, you'll get your camera in the next batch. Lucky you!

When that next batch is, though, I couldn't possibly guess.
 
Yeah, there's mad speculation about when the next batch might be. Any guess as to how many have been shipped to the US so far?

And what's up with the Full Compass guy? He's posting like a madman!!

Actually the Full Compass guy is Luis Acosta. Fernando K. is the madman advertising for him.:):)

Fernando, I appreciate the additional info., and that is a good price. I'll check him and several others out when I'm ready, and wrench the lowest possible price I can from one of them. :thumbup:
 
Hey guys, I can't post numbers on here any more, or dates. I done bad by doing that, and been slapped on the wrist, haard. So, I will have to try to send the mass email again when we get cameras, to keep all you guys updated.
 
Rush, can you estimate when you will have fullfilled your back order? Summer? Fall? I'm trying to time my purchase.

I wish I could say, and I wish I could estimate delivery and/or post numbers, but can't anymore, not at all, or certain aspects of my life will change dramatically :)

It will have to be the email blast again, if the server allows it. I am also calling everyone as soon as I hear that the cameras have shipped from Panny, to try and give them some heads up. All I can say is this, without posting numbers ;) I have seen a higher than 40% cancellation rate in the people I have called to tell them I have received their cameras, meaning hopefully the list will shrink quite a bit.
 
Panasonic is ramping up their HVX production this month (Feb), and reportedly Panasonic USA will bring in "several hundred" (up from "couple hundred") per month.
