Hey peeps!

I've been making some evil monologues lately...
Check this one out :)

EDIT: Some technical stuff:
Used a Zoom H4n to record my voice.
Sound Forge was used to edit the sound.
Then I used Premiere Pro to mix the sound.

Boost your volume!!

Classic evil VOX effect. FYI, you do realize that the opening bit is copyrighted? Not sure why you used it anyway since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest except as a contrast.

When I make evil dialogue, I like to throw in just a smudge of reverse reverb, and use metasynth to add the spectrum analysis of a raging inferno over the dialogue. Almost makes it sound like fire is talking. And I do a bunch of other stuff, but I can't give away all my secrets, and of course, it depends on what kind of "evil" it is.

If we morph this into a cool tricks thread I would add convolution reverbs in as a way to do some really wild things. You need one where you can import IR's. Then go find some sounds and chop them down to the size of an IR and go for it.

I've used sword shings as IR's to give whatever you pass through a metallic sheen.

I do realize that yes. The song I'm using for the evil voice part is also copyrighted... I don't see the problem :P

Anyways.

What I did here was record it into a quad sequence.
And I did different pitches on all 4 sequences. So I get sort of a chorus effect. And I added different reverb effects to each sequence as well.

Not difficult, but fun :)

Alright, folks. This thread is dead.

Copyright infringement is copyright infringement. Period. Whether you are making money off it or not, does not matter to copyright law, and we don't tolerate it around here.
