Would you use EVF Dtl to sharpen the image?
Im shooting high motion in 30p cinelike gamma
It looks like it cleans up the edges well, but it looks pretty digital to me. what do you guys do?

All it does is help you focus. That sharpening doesn't get recorded onto tape. I have it turned on at all times.

In order to really see the EVF detail, you need to ahve your viewfinder set to black and white, and even then, the outlines are kind of hard to spot. EVF DTL is usually called peaking on professional rigs, and it's also usually adjustable, which raelly comes in handy and prevents having to push in for a focus.

Something I've noticed is that the EVF detail setting is a lot more dramatic on my 100A's LCD than it is on a friend's 100B. My only guess is that the 100B's LCD is somewhat higher-res to begin with, so it's already somewhat sharper, making the EVF detail tweak less dramatic. I'm not sure if that really explains it, though. I find it a little easier to focus on the 100A.

I always use it. It takes a little bit of time at first to get used to what you're looking for, but once you get used to it, you'll really be able to tell the difference between when it is on or off.
