Everything is a remix - Part Deux

Um...Daryl Hannah maybe whistling a tune from 1968 film I'venever heard of, but didn't Orson Welles whistle the same in The Third Man? (1949)

Or am I mixing up haunting meoldies?

And I can't find Welles whistling in it....so I'm apparently wrong... But I know that tune, but not the movie mentioned. Weird.

Some of this is bang on, others is a real stretch..
Some of the video seams to be like "The title of the movie has the word 'The' in it, which we all know comes from that great movie form the 30s, and you see here, they ate an apple just like some guy did in some long ago movie in a deleted scene that only showed up last year after some hobo found the reel in the dump"

Cool video but I take issue with the premise.

"Derivative of" and "inspired by" are two separate concepts that mean different things. And remixes, real remixes, not the movies cited in the video, tend to be more "derivative" than "inspired".

As for "standing on the shoulders of giants", that can be applied to literally anything, including the makers of breakfast cereals, architects, and plumbers.
