Hi Everyone!
This is Andy's boss from ABC news and I am on his laptop right now to tell you guys who this kid is. andythefilmer is Andy Ryan who is 14 years old from Santa Clarita. I wanted this opportunity to tell you how amazing this kid is. He is already shooting footage for the LA local ABC news station, he has his own website and knows so much about his craft of film. You guys need to take his advice seriously. He has had a lot of experience in his 3 years of filmmaking experience!!! Look up his name in 5 years. He absolutely loves his DVX and is very grateful for all his equipment! Well he is about to come over here. He doesn't know I am posting this because his DVXuser account was already logged in. Reply to this thread and suprise him. His website is ridethis.tv if you want to check it out.

-John Baron, Andy's Boss...

Oh WOW!!! John is always so funny messin around with me. Well thank you guys. And don't even bother going to my site, my videos aren't that good. I am actually working on a doc right now. I should be done in a month or two...

I was just thinking about Andy tonight. He's getting a good start at 14 yrs old. Keep it up Andy!

Big future Andy, don't let it go, ever. My son is 16 and going to film school, he's gonna be great too some day!

When I was 14, I considered myself extremely lucky to be able to borrow my hesitant neighbor's cumbersome VHS camcorder. Adding music to the mix: no problem; simply play a cassette tape on a boom-box on location.

Stay inquisitive, Andy, and remember what Mark Twain said:

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

andy, you know you can always edite your post...haha

well i guess it's a fun post so you can keep it.
your boss is funny, I wish I had a boss like yours!
