EVA1 with SmallHD 501

I don't know if anybody else is having this issue and I've asked around various FB forums with no resolution!
It's driving me up walls and into dark places...

My EVA1 with FW2.02 installed has stopped displaying though HDMI onto my SmallHD 501 (HDMI only)
with firmware 1.12 I had no issues (and yes I have tried going back to 1.12 after the 2.02 install)

even though I am getting a signal to my other monitors (Marshall, Samsung, BenQ) from my EVA1 though HDMI !!

I met Hakan (through Fat Llama, London) today who brought his EVA1 + SmallHD 502 to test...
we both reset the cameras back to factory settings but still my EVA1 wouldn't display on my SmallHD 501 (yes latest firmware), however his did!!

Don't get this there is no logic both running the same Cameras factory resets his displays on his 502 and my 501
mine does not do either, before you ask yes all leads checked and same settings in menus everything the same...

anybody with any ideas before I have to send back to Panasonic
 
Will your camera display on other monitors via HDMI?
Have you checked/verified the output settings in the camera menus?
Not familiar with 501. (I have a 702)
Does it have a status display that tells you about input frame rate/etc?
Are you saying that both SmallHD monitors work on his EVA, and neither works on yours?
But that other monitors do work properly?
I've had no problems whatsoever with EVA1 HDMI to my 702.
Have you tried it with on-screen displays turned both on and off?
