EVA1 - Card Error, help!!

Student thesis project without about 6 hours of work on the card that is giving problems(yes I know it should have been backed up earlier). I'm not the student but the instructor and have tried everything I can think of so far.

Camera beeped rapidly during recording, gave REC ERROR and now can not be read by either camera or computer.

Gives message:
REINSERT OR CHECK CARD SLOT

Is not recognized by Mac Finder or Disk Utility

Card is:
AV PRO SD
SDXC II(30
300mb/s V90
128GB by Angelbird

Same thing is happening to me on an EVA1. I just wrote my post last night. Please let me know if you find a solution and I will do the same!!! I'm DP'ing a feature Western. Got a full scene lost on mine. Camera now sees the thumbnails and playsback, but it won't mount anywhere. I'll try EaseUS Data Recovery as suggested by cyvideo here.

I still don't have the card from the students so I haven't been able to try them out.

Please let me know how this works for you.

One of our work arounds as we move forward is to use redundancy and our crew will be using both the internal recording and an external recorder.
