Hello, i'd like to show you some of my latest shots. They're from offroad events in europe.

All clips are recorded using DVX100BE (25fps), some shots from B-camera (HV20 - ony used for Fisheye shots)

Short about filming and montage:

Contract was to film each day, then capture video, edit/montage it and send to youtube. So lot's of work for one man... ;) but... i done that.

Each day... wake up about 6-7AM, then filming, aprox 60-80minutes on tape, then back to camp, capture materials, select music, edit... compress and send to YT.

Intro for Breslau (all made by me using DVX100, intro music also done by me)

here are clips for Dresden-Breslau http://youtube.com/rallyebreslau (aka little-dakar) all clips - aprox 60min of final videos

here are clips for Transgothica http://youtube.com/transgothica/ (all parts duration aprox 60min)

There are some mistakes/errors sometime (like to much vinnette etc.) but this edit was very quick montage... speedmontage.

I build my own scene setting based on one found here (at dvxusers - called Minority report)

I always shot at 5.6k WhiteBalance (even in interiors), HV20 is set to 7000K, then after capture you should sharpen HDV little bit, and increase contrast a little bit to make HV20 similiar to DVXsettings (i think HDV should be set to 6500K, but 7000K WB is better)

Montage should be better, but i had no time for it... as i said one day to shot, capture, edit and upload... ;)

Settings for YT (for good Quality/size), MP4 Sony, bitrate 0,7Mbs, audio if posiible 96kbs, should be enought 64-80kbs.

Edit software for my clips - it's SonyVegas v.8, i used notebook HP550 for it (it's good and cheap mobilePC, DV and HDV edit goes without problems)

Thanks Mell. I really like your work, Shaun1970's productions and Jambredz' experimentations. Thanks for sharing.

Looks really good and yes to much vinnette. I probably wouldn't have had any. But I liked those settings
