Is that so? Did you tested that ?
 
Someone should indeed test that. It was mentioned in some early brochures but now that the camera's out, could someone please test and verify this for us?
 
I only wish I had an 8gb card to prove it, I can provide my postal address if someone would care to send one my way and I'd gladly test it on my PAL HVX :dankk2::)
 
I'm afraid not, I won't have a P2 card to record to till tomorrow and even then I'm restricted to editing 1080i footage because Avid won't work with 720 25p yet :(
 
Agh! Was supposed to be able to order some cards today as I was told they were in stock. Called today and was told there's a mistake, there actually was none when yesterday their were plenty. Rang up their local place and told the guy who'd told me to ring in today. He was annoyed with his co-workers saying they did have plenty, but he didn't call us back. Earliest I can call him is tomorrow afternoon but I doubt I'll have the P2 cards for the job I have on Friday night now :(

Was also told that the P2 stores are under the same banner as the Firestores in the UK ~ delayed, date unknown! :shocked:

I heard that someone, a DVXUser.com member in Scotland had picked up a P2 store though. At least I thought I had.
