I've been told around the 20th March but not to hold my breath.

I got a call from a dealer yesterday saying that it would be available from the end of next week and that they were hosting a HVX200 and FCP demo on the 24th.

any dealers anyone recommends?
creativevideo.co.uk look to be the cheapest, with cke distribution following up with a £4995 camera and Firestore deal. I'm hoping to take the plunge by getting cam and FS perhaps next week.

Proactive are good too. Same price as Creative Video, but they will probably haggle a bit if you push them. www.proav.co.uk

thats happening in dublin via eurotek but I'm sure london will have similar
I was led to believe it was the 17th but thanks for that info.
We'll have done a proper side by side test with all the cams by then alongside super 16mm, a cinealta and a Varicam (also inc a US HVX200). So at least I'll know which is definitely the best camera for our company.
