(Yes, that does give you license to chime in with "hey, I admit I love that show!")

Did you know Quentin Tarantino once appeared on The Golden Girls as an Elvis impersonator?

i still have bad memories about that show. when i was in college, one of my roommates always watched reruns of it late at night when i was trying to sleep. :angry:
 
that's side that she died. wasnt she in that movie Mask with Cher and eric stoltz? i believe she was the grandma.... that was a good movie. :)

Years ago The Goden Girls used to be on CBC everynight before the news, so we'd watch it when we'd come home from school.

Yes, ironic that she played the oldest on the show. She'd played older characters since her younger years. I used to watch Golden Girls and Empty Nest, which if I remember correctly, were connected by a crossover which involved a horrible earthquake that happened on both shows. I use to watch Empty Nest mainly for David Leisure's character. (For those who don't know David Leisure was the hilarious Joe Isuzu from the Isuzu car commercials).
