Escape - Test footage

Hey..

We did this back in march on a friday night, it was the last day that we could use the abandon prison here in charlotte, so I took the crew and we basicially just improv the whole scene. It took us back to the good ole days of just "Hey let's go make a movie"

So I wanted to work on my lighting since it used to always take forever (still does), we had a 250 watt clamp on top and a 500 watt on the other side of the room on a dimmer. This footage has been hidden away, I've recently just teamed up with the very talented composer Herman Witkam whos scored Jack's herofest entry Bonehand. I dugg up this footage just to see how he approaches this scene.

Herman will make a good addition to the team, along with Daniel Hughes writer of Closeup, which will be our next work. If you guys haven't check out the horrorfest thread yet.. do it now!!

Agreed. Way to short! (but that's good. because I want to see more.) Also the girl should of been WAY MORE BLOODY!

Sorry guys its all i got lol but thanks tho. I guess nobody notices that she chooses a bat over a sword haha. I think we ran out of blood .. so we just threw dirt on her.

I noticed, bit I admit I do not understand the signifigance of it. I just figured the bat was closer to her hand.
 
Very cool! Loved the look. And as always I never tire of looking at the girl. Give me as many films with her in them as possible. Thanky :)
 
Briceman.. yea we had one light on the pipes, and a 500watt on the side of the room but it was dimmed..

nah, we had halogen lights.. we shot it pretty clean, I added the green in post, using three color corrector, mostly in the shadows, just a little bit.
