eSATAS to USB 3.0 into macbook Pro

Is it stable to run an eSATA media drives into the Newer Tech eSATAS to USB 3.0 adapters (@$30) and then run those into a USB3 hub like a D Link? The purpose of the hub would be to not monopolize the only 2 USB ports I'll have on the computer.
I figure the other ports would have stuff like printer, mouse, scanner etc. Could I run 2 eSATA drives through the USB 3.0 hub?

I would recommend checking on this with the manufacturer because it's definitely not a sure thing. I've found that it can depend on the USB chipset the adapter uses. For example, I have a couple of Plugable's USB 3.0 HD docks ($25) and while they're great fast docks, I found that the LucidPort chipset used in these docks don't play well with hubs. Plugable has since updated their product literature to note that the docks are not compatible with hubs, but newer adapters may not note this.

USB 3 is still relatively new so it looks like there are still some compatibility issues.

Thanks,
I ordered the D-Link 4 port USB hub that has good reviews for dealing with Hard drives, Hope the Newer adapters work with hubs

Well I got the Newer adapters and the D Link and they seem to work like a charm. I seem to be able to run 2 eSATA drives each on its own Newer adapter into one 4 port D Link as well as my keyboard and USB 2.0 hub with mouse printer and scanner on it! I don't know how to measure speed from the hard drives but so far they seem fine. A little hard to believe it was that easy.
I thought I was going to need a thunderbolt to eSATA adapter but that seems unneccessary now.
