I LOVE this thing, but I had to upgrade my laptop. So I no longer have an expresscard slot (stop getting rid of the things I like apple!).
The newer 17' have the expresscard slot, but I didn't want to carry something that large. If you have the newer 17' and need to connect via esata, then this IS the card for you. Its the best.
This works with older model mac's as well as PC's.
There are 2 connections, and the card can daisy chain up to 10 esata drives (5 drives/each slot).
I basically used this card for one project, so its used but barely.
