This was my first shoot with my new DVX-100b (besides a short film but now i own the DVX) and really my first time shooting skate footage
but that doesnt mean you can't tell me what you liked or didn't as its still a rough draft and isn't color corrected yet. I edited yesterday at work and am going to color correct it today (film internship in SoHo)

shot in 24p but exported to 29.97 which i think is normal because when compressed to 24fps I got some loss frames and blinks when I exported it to 24fps through a quicktime file and then when I tried compressing it to 24fps in compressor it was REALY laggy
If anyone knows how to export 24p correctly please let me know i would really appreciate it

shoot in 24pa for 24 fame edit / export etc.

i know what SKATE is but a lot might not have a clue so to them it may just look like a bunch of kids doing tricks at random.
 
oh so normal 24p is exported the same as regular 29.97?
and for those who don't know what SKATE is its just like HORSE in basketball. One kid does a trick and the other has to match it or he gets a letter and first one to SKATE looses. The only real example is the end with "baby". The begging is all warm up and such because we didn't stay for much of it seeing as how there were over 350 kids competing. We were there for 3 hours filming and skating and the first round wasn't even over when we left.
anyone? critique? what I could have done better?
 
my buddy is flow for es, and was working the tour this year. i'm downloading now, maybe i'll see him
 
no one has any critique or something to say about it?
what they liked or didn't like?
