error meaning

just another simple one.

I frequently have an error pop up saying, <CPU overload. Rendering effects at this point may prevent this error. [Error: DMPort Error] Error/Status [0x 80000013]>

I have no effects to render, and this doesn't seem to affect the system at all, but it is coming up more frequently. My drives are getting very full, but I still have at least 8 gig free on each.

Just wondering if this is leading to anything and there's anything else I can do to stop if from happening.
 
Getting to the end of a drive can affect performance as well since media on the outside peramters of a disc are slower than the inside of a disc (more distance to cover). I like to kep the last 5%-10% free.
