Eric Hutchinson Music Video - HVX200

The song was awesome and that video was sweet. Like they said i love how simple it was but keep you in it the whole time.
 
Thanks everyone! Glad you all really dig the simple vision of it. I didn't want to bombard it with a bunch of graphics and all that... just went for a classy but visually fun approach and I'm really happy with how it turned out. We had less than 3 hours to shoot Eric, so the dp and I are both more than stoked with the results... and obviously my graphics guy got me exactly what I was looking for in regards to look/motion/feel of it, which sealed the deal, so yeah... good stuff.

If you can let us in on any of your production techniques, that would be great.
For example, I'm assuming it was shot in a green screen studio?

Thanks Peter! Yup shot on a green screen... Elaborate a little more as far as what techniques your interested in. I had less than 3 hours to film Eric so it was very wham,bam, thank you ma'm. I had my shot list and just cranked through everything. No crew. Just me, the dp, a pa, and the owner of the studio helped out as pseudo-gaffer. Shot with the HVX. Standard lens. No attachments.
 
Nice, I am just starting to venture into that style of titleing effects in AE, so I can apreciate the work. When shooting it did you have placment markers on the green screen or anything to assist in the motion tracking in post or did the graphics guy just have to match it up by eye?

no placement markers, but in the future i definitely would to make things easier for my graphics guy...
