I have a Cavision shoulder rig and it really helps. I can adjust it many different ways depending on the viewpoint I'd like... otherwise, yes, it's tough handholding the EX1.

Not much help since all the weight is still on your wrist... Indeed, may actually be worse. Must transfer at least half the camera weight to your shoulder, thereby allowing you to pan and tilt with your torso.Sorry to uproot a very old thread but, whats wrong with attaching one of these to an EX1? I've used them with the FX1 which is of a similar size?
