I have a brand new Equinox Pro Pak8 "Professional" housing for sale. This housing is designed specifically for the DVX100a. It was purchased for a specific project, however a different camera and housing was used instead. This housing has never been in the water. This is the professional version of the housing that they offer, which means that it has some additional controls. The controls avaialble are:

Power, Record, Zoom, Manual Focus, User 1 & 2, Iris (Manual ON/OFF), Push Button Auto Focus, Auto White Balance and ND Filter

There are also some other features that have been added. There's a 6" dome and a 4" dome along with an external red filter. It also has an lcd display installed in the rear panel. Pictures are available at

please e-mail me at juergster @ gmail.com if you want to see more photos or if you have any specific questions.

The housing as it sits cost over $2200 but since I have no need for it now I'm considering all reasonable offers.

I would consider offers in the $1000 to $1500 dollar range. Anything less would not be in the "reasonable" range. This is really a "pro" housing at an affordable price. According to Equinox some of the credits that the housing carries are; Survivor Palau (next season), ER (last season finale), Third Watch, Discovery Channel "Shark Week", current Carnival Cruise line
promotions, etc., etc., etc.,.... There's also a good review of the housing in the December '04 issue of production update magazine.

Greetings! Have you sold your housing yet? I am off to Baja to shoot whale sharks. So I am serious about purchasing. I won't waste your time offering you $300.

Thanks!
