I have a brand new (never been in the water) ProPak 8 "Professional" version underwater housing from Equinox. (www.dive-equinox.com) . This housing was purchased as part of a camera/housing package. It was never used in production because the decision was made to use a different setup (Sony/Gates combo). Comes with 2 front plates, a 6" dome port and a 4" port that comes with a removeable red filter. It also has an LCD display mounted in the rear face plate. The professional version has some additional controls. The controls are: Power, Record, Zoom, push button Auto focus, push button Auto white balance, ND filter, user 1 and user 2, Iris, and to 2 gears for the manual focus and the exposure wheel.

I've decided to post this here before posting it on ebay. I have already posted the camera on ebay, but will pull it if someone is interested in buying the whole package.

How much are you selling for? And would you consider some kind of trade? I have an EWA Marine underwater case.

Re: Equinox ProPak8 "Professional" under

I'm looking for at least $1500 for this housing. Equinox charges this price for the regular ProPak8 housing. This one has some enhancements. It has an LCD display installed in the rear plate, and it comes with a 6" dome port as well as a 4" dome port. To purchase this configuration directly it would cost over $2K. As for a trade, I'm selling the camera too so I'd have no need for the housing. If someone wants the package I could pull the camera from eBay and sell the camera and housing for $4500.00. I'd have to pull it within a day or two though, otherwise it will be to close to the end of the auction. So far there are no bids on the camera, but there are 10 people who are watching it.
