alrighty,

here's a video i shot in one day.
One DVX100b, couple of red heads i managed to get and 650w..
Music video was shot in the inner city guerilla style and the venue belonged to a friend of mine.
Music videos are very new to me, so not quite noah shulman level :)
This was actually my first. I learnt a lot especially in the post stage about the pre-production planning hehehe. Had fun and cant wait to do another.
critism welcome. i know exactly what i dont like in the video.
The Band is Epicure - 'one life'

Video has already aired on 2 local music channels here as of wednesday 12th March, (channel 0, MK89) we dont have a local broadcast of MTV. Video is being rotated during the watershed time-slot!

Disclaimer : Fighting scene (and that its on youtube.. sorry got nothing else)

at leaste i know that so far that this video had no effect on 80 people. thanks for the comments gents.

Like i mention before on this board youtube quality is not good enough to showcase this type of talent... most people here are visual... from what i saw on youtube it looks pretty good...

Sorry but I don't click links that go to google video, youtube, or any other site where they encode the video into flash. Give me a link to an mpeg, windows media, or quicktime file and we're good to go.

wow! u limiting yourself to so much dont u think? I bet most of you watch the youtube links, but use it as an excuse not to help out with comments.
characteristics like pace, timing, overall mood, intrest level, execusion, composition, originality, style, technique, etc... are very visibly noticible (and can sometimes be beneficial) Lighting, quality and exposure may be lost but c'mon this is a forum for an exchange of projects... where u expose your work full heartedly to scrutiny.

here in south africa accessing/hosting a site to upload large files is extremely pricey! want quality... i'll probably post some full res stills.

I bet im not the onlyone that finds a comment like "i dont click on youtube links" not only a lie.. but a insult. excuse me. Just doesnt make sense... i feel satified to help out a youtube post and can generally get a great feel for the video.

OK whatever. I don't visit youtube, google video or any site that encodes the content in flash. What's so hard to believe about it? I do wish you luck on your projects however.

I don't mind. Youtube's part of the world now, why fight it? I agree with others who mentioned it's good for previewing. I don't always like to download 40mb files. I got some good feedback with a Youtube posting on this site (albeit for a rough cut that I will soon post as a download). p.s. I've already commented on this vid on Youtube, I believe (prior to this thread).

I only watched the start which seemed pretty neat. Music was compressed making it pretty hard to listen to.
