Has anyone used the ROS R with a video devices monitor/recorder?
For some reason I can’t start recording on the Pix from the EOS R. Looks like timecode doesn’t start so the pix doesn’t start recording.

It’s also unfortunate that you can only do CLOG 10 bit in 4K but not HD. I wonder why they would limit that option.
Anyone tried this camera with an external recorder?
 
Sound/Video Devices have never supported Canon cameras for trigger record. I can't speak to the EOS-R but I find the Blackmagic Video Assist series to have better luck with trigger record and Canon cameras.
 
It works with our 5dmk4 and also C200's. It must be an issue with the EOS R. Just wondering if anyone else has tried using the camera with a recorder for trigger recording?
