I totally agree with you on this one Pookie.
Half the threads are just one line messages of nothing more than chatting. - They have NO value to anyone reading them at a later date. (which is the idea of a forum, you POST stuff to be read at anytime, not as part of that once-only real time discussion.)

But my space you have to deal with all the under age children, ads, and spammers, here is much safer. I don't think is turning into my space. I think the cafe has always been the place where people can get together and talk about nothing. Be it one line or not. The rest of the forum is for the tech, and craft talk and the cafe is just for people to hang out and share all the stupid poo that they find on the net. Pookie should know this over anyone.

A) Overly-informative
B) Extremely humorous/entertaining to EVERYONE (not to just a small band of merry men)

Pookie does not use the Cafe as his personal chatroom.
There are some new members here who have post counts in the thousands, chatting with others who have post counts in the thousands. And 95+ percent of their posts are all in the Cafe, chatting.

The lack of flow as of late was devastating.
It was disheartening to see what what happening to something as important to many of us as this community is.
I'm glad to see the things that were damming our flow have finally worked themselves out...with a little help from some true dvx s***rheroes (please don't sue, Mr. Lee.)

It does kind of seem like there's a little Cafe Club in here these days. I suppose the "Yap about whatever you want" moniker under the Category title doesn't help with personal restraint. But I hardly ever see the members of the "club" on the outside anymore. 'Cept that Jack Stanley, he's everywhere.

Ah come on guys go easy. Sure you may have not liked the random thread but that is not reason to start dividing the community into clubs. The thread you disliked so much is now closed. big ****ing deal. I say if someone has a problem with the forum, a thread or someone in it then take it up with the mods they do a pretty good job.
