Engaing built-in ND filter

How can I engage built-in ND filter? I have shot in the day-light and my footage is over exposed. I read on internet that the camera has built-in ND filter which can fix the problem but I can't find it anywhere. Where is it? I'd appreciate your response. :Drogar-SunGlass(DBG

The built-in filter is always automatically engaged. There is nothing you can do about it. It's integrated into the iris and it always engages whenever you stop down past f/2.8. It's already there.

If the camera is still overexposed in daylight, you're going to need an external ND filter.

FYI .... HMC40 minimum aperture (f2.8) + max. ND filter = equivalent of f11

In comparison, the HMC150 minimum aperture (f3.0) + max. ND filter = equivalent of f22. In other words, the HMC150 can cope with two stops brighter light at a given shutter speed.
