ENG lens options for FS100/FS700?

I'm doing research for a friend trying to find some solutions for a run-n-gun style setup for the FS100/FS700 line. What lenses are available or have there been frankenstein work arounds for this yet? Thanks!

Probably the best solution is the kit lens....well at a reasonable cost anyways.....if there is a big budget there is
always the new 38 thousand dollar Fuji lens.

The kit lens is good for ENG style shooting. It has the zoom range you'll need. But I highly recommend adding a variable ND filter to the lens, or it's almost useless in bright daylight.

Well, to be fair, the OP did say the FS100 OR the FS700. If you get the FS700 with kit lens, you will not need
a variable ND as it has built in ND filters. However the variable ND is nice in that you can get EXACTLY
the F stop you want as opposed to 'in the general area'. For the FS100, I HIGHLY recommend the Heliopan
variable ND. As a matter of fact, I have recently shot several ENG projects with this exact setup:
my FS100, kit lens, and Heliopan and it works absolutely great, close as you are going to get
(in this budget range) to having a Super 35 camera with the ability to throw on a fast prime for
shallow DOF, but still retain the ability to have the zoom range that you need for ENG.
That's why to me, the kit lens is a good buy. You really make your FS100 into a kind of a
'Swiss Army Knife' of cameras. Build it up into a studio cam, strip it down for a unobtrusive
field cam, use a fast prime to do an interview, use the kit zoom for some B-Roll, maybe a fisheye
lens for a dramatic WS, I mean, it can do a little of everything!

Good to know thanks! And his intention is to get two fs700 for docu-series sizzle reels and maybe a couple fs100s as b-cams.
