A few months back I joined the group started by Duke and ordered a Prolock adapter for my Nikon lenses. Although it worked great, it was not giving me parfocal performance on my Nikon zoom lenses. Last week I sent it and my 17-35 Nikon lens to Optitek, and received it promptly returned today. It is now perfect, with parfocal performance on the zoom lens! I had previously purchased the MTF adapter but did not like it for several reasons and had returned it. The Prolock is great for G style lenses because it shows the aperture on an accurate graded scale. It is also very easy to use and the lenses lock very securely in place. Even with a heavy 70-200 it is rock solid. I just wanted to thank both Duke for recommending, and Jacek at Optitek for servicing (at no charge) this adapter.
