"Emergency Video" MV The Perfect Victim

Ramon! Awesome work.

Amazing how you make your videos look so pro. You got the keen eye for editing too... by far the best music video editing. My brain just can't think that fast to edit with all those cuts and layers! lol

Curious, what was your setting in camera? detail settings, master ped etc...

So sick....I aspire to do something that good some day....haha...Some day....Amazing dude, simply amazing....

I shot on F6, the master pedestal was at -1, and thats pretty much it. Then in Vegas I dropped the saturation, and add some blue to the shadows, and some blue to the mid, all the scratches were made in adobe but just scribbling.

Thanks for the comments!! Their fans are loving it.

Ramon, Those guys are from Orange County correct? Did you drive all the way out there or are you in Ca?

Tim.

Schweet! Wouldn't mind seeing a higher-rez version sometime. What is the kinda "zoom in and out/blur" effect? That's in Vegas? Sick video. Luv the Letus/DVX combo. But, um, can't you crank these out a little quicker please? lol

your videos are about the only thing stopping me from upgrading to hvx200 right now hiro. how do you do it? you get more out of your dvx than most pro film studios do with £10,000's. everything is spot on, you give me hope, you're my super-hiro!

can you run me through exactley how you do those cool little shaky-blury-blue flash bits? amazing!

also, i second a higher quality version please!

pass: video

too lazy to take off the pass, but enjoy :)

I keyframed the shakes, and the blurs to the music. the blue coming from duplicating the track and set the compositing mode to overlay. then color the footage blue.

That's pro, dude. How that isn't #1 or at least top 5, I have no idea.

I mean I could maybe understand it if people thought the song was too stereotypical pop/punk, but the song @ #1 is just terrible, though their video has very high production values. You can't say that about some of the other ones in between. That "Fight For Me" one is a terrible song, and an even more terrible video.

Hiro,

I've been following your work for awhile now, it's amazing to see how much better you've gotten with each video...this one proves it, you've developed some great skills.

This really was spot on!
Anything on lighting package, lenses used and crewsize/shooting time...
Nerdy, I know...
