Hello! I'm a film instructor at Whitworth University (www.whitworth.edu) in Spokane, Washington. I've ordered an HVX200, but our vendor informed us on Friday that the shipment is delayed for 3-4 weeks.
I'm shooting a short film from June 9th through the 12th. I've spent 4 months in preproduction on the project. Actors are arriving from Los Angeles, local hotel rooms are already booked, everything is in place...except the camera!
We need to rent an HVX200. Our budget is small. However, there are many ways we can compensate you:
1.) We own about $20,000.00 worth of gear and would be happy to loan you whatever you need. We have 21,000 watts of tungsten light, Lite Panels LED lights, tons of grip gear, HD monitors, tripod, fig rig, dolly, walkie talkies, etc.
2.) We'll list you in the credits of our short film.
3.) We can afford to pay $300.00 plus provide whatever hold you need on a company credit card to ensure the safe return of the item. We'll also pay for shipping.
Feel free to email me at justin.evans@prodigipictures.com. You can also reach me by going to the school's website and calling the fine arts department directly. Thank you for your time!
