Anyone know where I can get a recording of the "This is a test of the EAS..." with the warning tone and all? I'm looking online and just haven't found it anywhere. Thankfully we have good weather here right now so I probably won't be hearing it for real anytime soon.

There is actually no "official" voice for that (at least on TV) - the only sound that's part of the ststem si the tones you hear at the start, which are actually teh data burts with the information (which is then displayed graphcially [again, TV] - and [only] sometimes read).

However every station is required to test the system once a week, so give your local station a call and they'll prolly be happy to let you know when they plan to do one.
Also there is a reauired statewide monthly test that is on a pre-decided date. What state are you in? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=EAS+schedule - you should be able to find a scheduled test time for yoru state to within a few mintues from there.
