Ellis Acres: July 2009

[Allen Ellis]

I don't often share my videos here so I want to put up at least one. Here's my latest:

http://vimeo.com/5526161

It started out as more of a historical record of my home, combined with a workflow test in Premiere, but I'm really happy with the mood it sets (the right soundtrack works miracles).

Most of it is shot with the stock scene 1, but a few (mostly with my dog Koty) are with a custom scene of mine that I actually want to adjust now (it crushes the blacks too much).

Enjoy .

Nice video. It doesn't say on this site or on Vimeo, was this shot on the HMC150?

How did you do some of the short DOF shots?

[Allen Ellis]

Thanks, yes the HMC150 (I forgot to add that to the description but it's in the tags).

Short DOF is just zooming in as much as possible and keeping that iris open. Stock lens, no adapters

[Skilled]

Enjoyed it. Very nice indeed.
