ELIPZ Anton Bauer 10K battery for HVX200

Hello,
I bought an anton bauer ELIPZ 10k battery with recharger for a tidy sum ($>350). No I find that the light is nowhere to be found and probably not being made....so much for sales in NYC's Abel Cine...but worse than that - I find that when I mount the battery under the camera, it does not stay stationary but rocks the camera back and forth if I shift my hold on the camera. I have checked all screw connections and have tightened them to the max. Anyone else have this problem and workaround?

The ElipZ light called the ElightZ is available. Stock can be found at B&H and G&G Video. I think the confusion is that A/B will not be able to make available the 15 watt bulb they announced at NAB last year. Available bulbs are 10w and 5w.

The ElipZ 10K battery comes with 3 foam pads the should be attached to the cookie that screws into the camera. This should provide a more solid attachment.

If you do not have these foam pads call A/B tech support at 800.541.1667 them should be able to supply you with some at no charge.

Thank you much. I am missing the foam pads---wonder if they will mail them to Central Asia/China! For indoor day/evening lighting, I don't think that 10w is sufficient, or is it? Is A/B planning on fixing the tech bugs with the 15w bulb or not at all?

Going Abroad:
Anton/Bauer has an office in Singapore (65) 2975784 Martin Soh is the guy to ask for. I do not know if he has any extra or can if he can send you at no charge, but you could call. US service mgiht be able to do it if you paty for postage.... Martin will be coming to NAB so he might be able to bring some back with him.
The Elightz comes with a blue gel and throws about 80 foot candles of light (W/O Gel) at 5 feet.
There are no bugs with the 15 watt bulb. It is that they are very hard to source. If you can find a fifteen watt 6 v MR-11 bulb it will work in that light.
Estimated foot candles of the 15 watt bulb is 135.
 
I need to know where can i buy a 15w bulb for elightz or maybe another compatible model, the 10w bulb is not too bright...need help plz.
 
We have the ElightZ as well. The highest wattage is 10w. It does a good job, but if you want more light, you'll want to look at the UltraLight 2.

We also have the UltraLight 2 as well. It's 25 watt bulb might be more of what you are looking for.

Both are great products for what they are intended for. Once you get past these two products you might as well move up to a stand light. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

We've been very happy with the Anton Bauer products. Their founder is who developed so much of our battery technology for Video. Great people!
