GH4 Electronic viewfinder - Zebra pattern / Focus peaking

Hi guy's, I have a question about the EVF of the GH4. Im trying to decide if I should make the change from a Nikon D600 to the Gh4. One of the nice things of making the switch from my Nikon setup, is that I can still use the glass in combination with the awesome Speedbooster. Tough offering some great opportunities, adapting Nikon glass to the GH4 comes with one big downside. Losing autofocus capabilities. For video this really doesn't matter. But I am planning to use the camera for stills as well.

I've red that the GH4 has focus peaking and zebra patterns. This is awesome for some quick manual focus action. But my question is... Does this only work in live view (on the screen) or does this also work trough the EVF. I don't have any experience with EVF's so maybe this is a Noob question :P

Thanks for your fast reply! Thats really really awesome. The amount of useful features on this camera is unbelievable.
 
Uh. EVFs are just tiny screens. Unless they do something stupid (it's always software-related stupidity) they'll always work.
