When doing time lapses with the gh3 and the electronic shutter, any chances of sensor damage when shooting into the sun? Should I be concerned. I know this isn't a issue with mirrored cameras.
The way I understand it, the GH3 electronic shutter is acting in the same way as when filming. I've got an over 3 year old GH1, that's been pointed at the sun plenty and is still ok. Not saying it doesn't happen though.
A friend of mine just had a sensor fried by a laser at a gig, so you might want to be careful around those!
