Did some shooting last night with an NTSC GH1 in PAL land with artificial lights, this place has the most lights I know of so thought it would do:

Do you use the focus zoom? When in manual mode, clicking the left keypad on back give a yellow frame, click center 'menu' keypad and viola! 5x zoom for focus, spin front wheel to switch between 10 and 5x. Click menu or front wheel to switch back to normal. Yellow frame can be moved around in the image before zooming in case you have the framing locked off on a tripod.
