Electric Sky

Very nice job. Did you do any cc on it? I remember taking some footage of lighting but it wasn't this good. It was a whimpy little one compared to this beast of nature. Good work!

The real thing baby

The real thing baby

Hey guys.

This is the real thing. The bolts were captured at 30fps which usually gave me 5-6 frame grabs 1/5 sec. I'll post some footage at multiple speeds a little later so you can see it in action. No after effects used here. The one that looks like it's daylight was captured at 30fps with a 1/15 shutter speed. Amazing stuff. No cc no tweaking whatsoever these babies are raw DVX bliss!!!

Sweet! I wish I would have gone somewhere to frame soething into the forground to give added interest like the road sign, but I didn't know how long it would last. I captured images from about 2am to 4am July 4th. I'm asuming you got that grab from inside the car?
