Whats cracking everybody?
If anyone of you has seen the new Jean Reno movie 22 Bullets (L'immortel) there is a scen where a couple of gangsters enter a hotel. While they are walking (the camera is following them and moving around them) through the lobby the exteriors around them change. Suddenly they appear at an elevator in a hospital. Like i said, it´s a very subtile effect and i missed it the first time i saw it. It doesn´t really add anything to the story. It´s more of a stylistic show off but a very well executed effect.
Now, my description may sound like it´s an effect similar to the one seen in the old Will Smith video "Miami. It´s not. This has a totally different look and i´m not sure it´s green screenend at all."
