I really liked this. Give us some techincal information... Scene settings, color grading techiniques... But, yeah, very nice work!

What were your 48 element requirements?

Nice work.. really ambitious! Did you guys not have a max length for the
city?

Thanks UncleBenji :)

For scene setting, I didn't stray too far from the default settings because I knew I was going CC it later.

For CCing, all I did was play with it until I found a tone I liked. Lots of trial and error that I worked on before the competition started. Obviously, I'm a fan of the greens but too much and it started to look like Mars Attacks.

Thanks for checkin it out, Bewillia & Matty_g.

where's all the nat sound?

It wasn't going to play a useful role in this film so it all got cut. Originally, I had envisioned more slomo, but the 10 minute time limit changed that notion.

I did my best to make a film that could stand on it's own outside of the 48 Hour Film Fest, even though I was a slave to the requirements.

Our time limit was 10 minutes not including credits.

Our requirements were as follows:

Word: Wizened(had to appear and be defined in the credits)
Video effect: Sepia tone(cut from the internet version)
Props: Fan & Suitcase
Scene: Car(could be near a car so we used a bus stop)
Line: "They bought it. Incredible. One of the worst performances of my career, and they never doubted it for a second."

I thought it was good for a 48 hour film festival but what I didn't like was the fading out then fading in 90% of the time. Got a little annoying to me.

I thought some of the dialogue was cheesy and didn't think the characters were very believable.

Sorry for the negative comments, I think it's very good. It's just, negative comments help more in the long-run than positives do (in my opinion).

Thanks for checking it out bballplaya283 and taking the time to leave some feedback.

Although there was no dialogue in the film and the characters weren't really meant to be believable, just interesting.

liked it, just thought it started getting sort of silly while you were walking to the garage in the beginning -- "you have to keep moving"

I thought it was well done, for the most part. I loved the first "workout sequence"... the music and the camera movement fit PERFECTLY. It really pulled me in. The V.O. also sounded good, and was acted out pretty well.

I do agree that the charactor didn't really fit a "fighter" persona.

My biggest problem with it, I think, is the workout after he gets his sight back. He couldn't even hit the bag!? I can kind of understand the jump rope and such, but the punching bag was just WAY too much for me. I mean, come on... it's a giant bag, it's right in front of him, and he swings and misses it completely.

Overall, though, I think it was a job very well done. Congrats.

Thanks for checkin it out Kyle

Thanks rcbrown23
We were trying to show that he would have trouble with depth because judging distances would have been something new for him.

He did clip the bag in his second try though. :)
