Edius Neo on my machine is absolute crap. I had been using Edius 4.5 up until I got my HMC. That was just non existent with AVCHD so I upgraded to Edius Neo. This is just as bad as 4.5 as far as AVC footage goes. Playback is just non stop jitters and stutter and thats as far as it gets.
I have a fast Quad Core 2.66Ghz machine with 4gb ram, Nvidia 9500GT, tonnes of HDD space but its a no show. I use Corel Pro X2 as my main cutting tool and for overlays etc and it works fine even without transcoding.
Is there some sort of setup for Edius, also there seems to be no preset for setting up a 1080p project with AVCHD footage.
Anyone else had problems with Neo?
