Is there an established workflow to get the avi DVCProHD file to a QT file that can be read on a Mac and/or FCP?
 
Use can use any QT codec that has both a Windows and Mac version. Problem is, DVCPRO HD for QT exists only on the Mac side.

Apple Component Video 4:2:2 would be a good choice, albeit quite large.

Someone on another forum suggested the SheerVideo codec which has both Mac OS and Windows versions.
 
dvfilm.com makes a very capable DVCPRO HD compatible codec for MAC and PC called RAYLIGHT. $195US at their website.
