Need an Los Angeles based creative editor with own system (Mac or PC) to work with director in editing ultimately the whole feature, but at the moment a trailer and several scenes and flying sequences. Most of the movie was filmed on an aircraft carrier and in the cockpit of fighterjets and is a 'mockumentary' of sorts. This is mostly a self funded microbudget, but with some big production value.
While we are finishing the actual movie, the demo will be going out for review for developing a cable/network series as well as a series of features.
While we can't offer much in the way of upfront compensation, I can tell you that a good number of 'real' industry people will be taking a look at this. And the air to air footage is pretty unique stuff - shot by actual pilots over Iraq.
I'm happy to answer all questions and realize that nonpaid/very low paid type work isn't the best way to go, but it's nature of the project at the moment. Everyone involved in this is very passionate about taking it to the next step.
