Editing Music Video.

Do you folks know what concerns, problems that could arise if a band gives me there song on CD and I edit on Vegas having shot there video in 24p? I feel that I could lay there orig sound track down in Vegas from there CD and using my scratch track from the cameras audio be able to sync it up.
Any suggestions??? Thanks

Should be fine, as long as you had them perform to the same version of the track when shooting. If not, then it will just take a bit more finessing, but definitely doable.

Great..Thanks. I didnt know if sampling rates might need to be changed or what. Iam using the CD master as playback on the shoot. Kinda new with this NLE stuff. My previous editing job we had beta SP. Its been Quite a few yrs ago and just getting back into the editing bit.
