Looking for a benevolent editor! I'm desperately trying to finish a 30-40 minute short in the next couple of months. A friend and I have been chipping away at it since November and I am a little creatively exhausted. I'm looking for a wise person in Toronto that would spend a little time with me getting the most out of my footage. There are definite strengths and definite weaknesses but I'm just way too close to it at this point to see how it works as a whole. Is there anyone in Toronto kicking around this list who is well-versed in drama and would lend a hand? It's been totally rough-cut... I'm multiple-thousand in debt on this right now so I don't have any budget to pay someone. I'm hoping to find someone who would spend a day or two with me ironing out the wrinkles... with beer and food on me of course!
