Editing HPX-500 workflows

Hi everyone,

I am using an HPX-502 (NZ equivalent) for an 8 minute short film. We are hoping of shooting in DVCPRO 100 and have a 5:1 shoot ratio.

My question is how many terrabytes will I need to edit a project of this scope?

well ah.. how long is your short going to be?

8 minute short, 5:1 ratio meaning you will have 40 mins of material = 40 gb.
1 min of dvcpro hd 100 = 1 gigabyte
