Editing 720@50p in Vegas 9

Hi,
what should be the Project properties in Vegas 9 for editing mts files from GH-1 taken at 1280x720 at 50p/sec?
- should I use 25 or 50 frames?
- I have read something about Disabling resample etc.

Final result will be burn to DVD and I would like to backup result in HD (sony avc?).

Depends on what you want. You can edit as 50p then output as interlaced 50i DVD. Or you can edit and output as 25p, Vegas will drop every other frame.

Editing in 50p is more flexible and can be used for both 25p and 50p/50i outputs, but requires more computer power.
