Edited 5D Footage Back to the 5D?

I plan to edit my 5D footage in Vegas and hope to be able to play it back from the 5D. Is this possible? What settings do I render my edited project with? Thanks!

You know what's funny, I tried dropping some of the downloaded raw footage into Vegas 7 & 8 and both crashed on me every time with an error message.

I also would like to know how to do this. I am using FCP and I don't want to go through trying to figure out how to put the edited footage on a blue ray, I would rather just try and figure out how to put it back on my 5D and play it back through HDMI. Do you think it's possible to put the video back onto your CF card?

What about the Western Digital Media Player?

Wow that thing looks really interesting, I am still confused on how it works. So how much storage space is on it? Would you be able to render your 5D edited footage on there because I am sure the file size would be HUGE! We are like talking ten minute of footage being GIGS of space. Or am I wrong? do you plug this thing into your hard-drive and play it from that? Thanks for the heads-up about this, I have never seen something like this, it definitely helps me from going through the hassle of buying expensive blue ray burning equipment and everything. I am really interested in this and it's only 99 dollars.

Elaborate please!

Why not just use a card reader and copy the video file from the card reader and paste it to a folder on your hard drive?

Exactly what I want to do. Anyone here do this successfully?
