Edditing HVX footage

What will be the best way to eddit HVX footage in terms of computer (PC or mac, what are the minimum requirements), which edditing software (final cut pro? or something else), how to store raw material and the final product etc. etc. Any suggestions?
 
The choices for native DVCPRO-HD editing include Final Cut Pro on the Mac, Avid Express HD (PC, maybe also Mac) and Canopus Edius NX. As for minimum requirements etc, each program is different, so you should check out their websites to see which interests you and what its requirements are.

Which software would you prefere to edit DVCpro-HD ? Final Cut Pro on the Mac, Avid Express HD (PC, maybe also Mac) or Canopus Edius NX and why.

Is it at all possible to use AVID XPRESS PRO 4.6 for editing with the HVX200? Is the new HD version of Avid merely better or is it necessary?
