Will be going into production in June for the feature "The Casino Job" by Robinhood Films and we will be using the DVX.

i would like to hear from those already using the DVX for features and what you use to enhance the DVX shooting experience.

We have a small budget for some more gear outside the normal things.

Thanks!

Jeff

Lights
grip stands
flags/cutters
Monitors
cables
the basics....

I'd say the thing you need the most is perseverance/drive to complete your project.

Good luck, a feature is a quite an undertaking.

Actually, not my first feature, but first using the DVX.

Aside from the usual things, "grip stands, flags/cutters, Monitors, cables" for which we have plenty of, is there anything else that has made your DVX experience a joyous one?

Do any of you find a matte box as necessary on the DVX as it is on a film camera? What about focus ring? Do any of you use any lense attachments aside from the anamorphic?

Thanks

So far we are going straight into the DVX, which bothers me only because i prefer double system sound, especially using miniDV. We are at the mercy of budget constraints and may or may not have a dedicated, professional sound person even though we have the boompole and Sennheiser mic.
