Is a collection of stories of people still missing since the Japan Tsunami on March 11, 2011.

I will be travelling to Japan on June 16 and will spend 3 weeks living out of the back of a van to get the shots I need, speak to the people Ive arranged to speak to etc.

I will be doing regular updates on facebook if you want to follow the journey. So join the group - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_202970643079268

Also you can check out our crowdfunding page here (where trying to get the little bit more we need to do the job right) http://www.indiegogo.com/Echoes-On-The-Wavess

You can watch our crowdfunding video directly below as well.

Hey gang. SO a bit of an update from Japan.

So far.

Our indiegogo campaign finished. And whilst on the indiegogo page its says 5530 of 10000 wanted. We did actually make our target.

Indiegogo has it's up and down sides. First if you dont make the full amount on the campaign you still get the money. This is probably not the option to go with unless you already have some funding and you're trying to supplement. You might end up having obtained half of whats needed and well now youve got to do the project with half of what's needed.

In my case I had some money, I wanted more and as long as I got something it was always just going to get me that little further on something I was committed to.
THe biggest downside are the related fees. Indiegogo fees arent cheap and you lose a good wad of what you campaign for. I had a few people comfortable with dropping cash into an account so they did to avoid that, thus where the balance was paid to.

Ive just done a quick gear check as theres a couple of small things I nned to pick up tomorrow so I dropped some photos here http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_202970643079268&ap=1

Congrats on the IndieGogo, Noel. I missed this thread!

It looks like a very engaging topic. Hope it's going well.

Ok so three years on we're almost done. Theres one final piece of the puzzle to complete this piece of work.

In June we are travelling back to Tohoku and will be doing some, how's life for them today interviews. What you will find is in three years theres still a shocking amount of work to be done. This will hope to reinforce the point of what we are doing.

We've got relevant Account details from Rikuzentakata City so we can forward all proceeds back to the city - not just to be spent as they like. The Account has been set up specifically to help rehouse people who are still technically homeless. All proceeds of people purchasing / watching this documentary will log there. Some minor logistics around how that will all work to be finalised.

We also have anew Facebook Page where you can follow us on the final leg of the journey.

Back to Japan next week. All interviews arranged. Going to be surreal to be back there.
