Sony broadcast dockable betacam SP camcorder in good used working condition, consisting of:
BVV-5 recorder SN 14832
BVP-7 camera head SN 10281
Fujinon Pegasus zoom A14x9BERM-28 with doubler
viewfinder: Ampex SN 007a-00920
Details:
BVV-5 recorder. This is Sony's best, heavy-duty workhorse broadcast recorder, not the smaller and less robust PVV series. Excellent cosmetic condition, 900 hours on head counter. All dials, knobs, controls and switches working, records perfectly, lightly used since last engineering checkup, no known problems. Dual NP-1 Battery pack holder, one lid has a slight crack but can be easily cemented to repair and doesn't affect operation.
BVP-7 camera head: normal cosmetic wear (paint chipping and worn foam, typical of these units). 2/3" broadcast HAD chip. All switches & knobs & functions are in working condition. A couple of stuck pixels visible only at 18db gain.
Fujinon lens: all functions work properly. Glass is clear and clean, with no scratches on front or rear elements. No fungus. Almost NO cosmetic wear. Generic front lens cap, no rear cap.
Viewfinder: all functions are perfect, bright and clear. Some cosmetic wear. Swivel is slightly loose. No rubber eyecup (I used a nylon "I-Cuff" since I wear glasses.)
No batteries or charger (the ones I have need recelling and would only add weight to the package.) I will include a non-OEM 12V power supply ($100 value).
This has been my personal camera, which I bought from an engineer/camera operator. I've had it set up, painted to broadcast standards, and regularly maintained by network engineers from TNN and CMT. I think you will find this camera to be much better than what is offered by the typical liquidator.
I will guarantee that it is "in good working order, non-DOA, and as described." Beyond that, it is sold strictly as-is. Buyer pays actual shipping costs via UPS plus $10 flat fee for proper packing materials. The $50 fee listed in the shipping section is an estimate. It may be a little less or a little more. Alaska and Hawaii are likely to be more. Absolutely no international buyers, must have at least 10 positive feedback ratings and 90% or better overall.
