Ebay F35's

yes I have bought a few items from him. He seems to collect older cinema cameras with connections to rental houses. This is the seller I saw sell a F23 about a year ago. Viewfinders are also worst ones. It's funny because the one camera has really low hours advertised. They must of been traveled and not protected, a beat up exterior does not mean the F35 isn't a good one, it does make you wonder what happened and if anything inside jiggled loose.

There is a F3 on eBay right now that was new sealed in the package still. Imagine what a beautiful camera a full F35 package never used would look like if one is hiding in a lost closet or storage room shelf somewhere. At the age of the cameras we are purchasing, the condition they were treated through their life and the history or lack of is a very big factor in deciding the value. These 2 packages should be listed for 4k and then it would be far more interesting.

Just so everyone knows - Sony stills services F35 - I just had one serviced - and I assume they will continue to for a long while since it's part of their professional line. The cost of repair was extremely reasonable and the engineer was happy to see them still out there.

Something wrong with that camera... 3600 hours maybe, not 36. That is abuse or an insurance claim if it has got in that state so quickly.

Can you imagine someone returning a £150K camera in that state?

No IF box and cheap viewfinder is a downside.

Funny. That isn't me, but they did the same thing I did - docked the SR-R1. Thing is, in that package you're paying for the recorder with the camera, so 8k probably is fair, but you have to note that there are no cards or media reader included. That said, if someone looks at that package, I'm selling SRMemory cards on eBay (or here).

To Ed's point on Sony still servicing F35's... you can also haggle a bit with them on the prices of service. Or at least I was able to a little bit back when I used them. This was the LA office.

I am selling my Sony F35 finally - the deciding process took 5 months - i didnt want to part from it but i got great results with my red dragon that is totally enought for my needs. My skills are far more weakness point than any camera. So anyone interested in buying mine: It comes with the interface box, assistant panel, top handle (small one, not the L). I bought it from Mac Gregor in October last year and it is still in the same great condition. Hours and details via mail need to get back to office to check it. I want 6000 usd for everything. It has the PL mount version 2. Please no time wasters. If you have the money and real interest write me. Write me a mail: tim.ottowitzatgmaildotcom

You may want to add where you are on earth.

How is that SRR1 being attached????

Well, I'd have to guess they did what I did - used a Sony dock plate from an IF Box, (you don't have to ruin an IF box, you can buy the plate from Sony for like $110) and then made a metal plate to link it to the recorder. I did the same - i took the rubber feet off the SR-R1, and used those holes to secure it to the metal plate. It can be a very thin solution. My plate is only a couple millimeters thick. I don't have an SR-R1 anymore, so I would sell the metal plate if anyone wants it.

Hello everyone !

I have also decided to sell my Sony F35.

I have purchased it last summer from Alan Gordon Enterprises in Los Angeles. I need to sell it due to financial reasons.

Pictures are attached. http://imgur.com/a/0pbl1#0

Location of the camera is Frankfurt, Germany.

Asking for $11,000. (Price Drop: $10,000)

Send me an email if interested to make an offer: DavidatCurvyroadpicturesdotcom

You'll need to get Panavision to part with a matching LUT first... perhaps worth starting a new thread rather than posting in everyone else's?

Hey talked to macgregor and Hunter Hampton today. Macgregor told me he checked the manual and there is no option to offload the files to memory stick.

Here is my package i sell for 6000,00 usd:

the total package: Sony F35, Top handle (not L), Assistant Panel, IF-Box, PL-Mount Version 2, riser Plate - 6000 USD
Additional Sony V-Mount attachment with the right 4-pin XLR that fits directly on the IF-Box: 300 USD
Odyssey 7q: 2100,00 USD with 2x 256gb SSD (can't sell it for less as the price is still up on the market and i paid 2900 Euro new last year)
Blackmagic Hyperdeck 2 - 220 USD, i have also a few 480 and 500 gb SSD's for it.
Original Hyperdeck Cheeseplate, 60 USD
Zacuto shoulder pad - 250,00 usd
Small d-tap power supply distributor from 1 to 4 d-tap outs (i had it with small velcro on top of the f-35
A very good german discrete 2 channel mic preamp with 2x gain, phantom power and all cables or 2x xor to mini xor (mic in) and xlr mini to xlr (output to Sony F35 inputs), i had it with velcro on the right side of the camera, is exactly the size of the right camera side plate, the velcro holds it perfectly and lets you decide if you need it for sound recording or just detach it. The outputs go directly to the inputs of the IF Box. The cables were custom made. The sound in combination with the Sony F35 inputs are of great quality. I use Siemens Sitral and Neve preamps in our studio and am very picky :). The preamp i sell for 450 usd checked before from a technician. Paid 700 new in september last year.

I also have a Zeiss 180mm 2.8 PL lens 450,00 € in good condition with clean glass and very good mechanics

The setup is ready to shoot, i also have support stuff like small baseplates, a Letus 2-stage Mattebox with inbuilt vario ND/color temperature if you are interested...

Regarding the photo: The baseplate is not sold anymore, also not the 15mm rods in the picture, handles and the v-mounts. They have less the 70% capacity so i don't sell them anymore.
